I opened my first account in 1986 and had someone else trade it for me. I was lucky ... money was made.

After a time I became more interested in learning how to trade for myself. I decided to buy all the trading books I could find and subscribe to all the trading magazines with the hope of learning what was needed to be profitable in the trading arena. Shortly after receiving the trading magazines. I read an article where a well know system developer had just successfully sued the CTA I was using, for utilizing some of his methods without permission. It was at this point I decided that I needed to learn how to trade for myself. So I closed my account and began my quest. I left no stone unturned in my thirst for a working method that would fit my personality and style, "something I could live with."

Fortunately, during my early learning period I ran across Joe's "Home Study trading Course". It was through my understanding of this material and the many seminars, both public and private, that I've had with Joe through the years, that remains the backbone of my trading methodology today. I'm a short term trader who prefers to enter trades in the hourly timeframe and hold onto what could turn to a short term daily trade lasting perhaps 2 - 5 days.

I find it much easier to wait for the market to turn and enter on a reaction back than to try pick a top or bottom. I used to trade a handful of markets, but presently prefer to focus exclusively on the 30 yr. bonds. Bonds are my bag !
